Delivery

🇬🇧 UK customers

Delivery days we are able to offer are Monday – Friday between the hours of 08:00 – 18:00.

The cut-off time for same day dispatch is 13:00. Any orders placed after 13:00 may be dispatched the next working day. Please note that we are not able to dispatch orders on the weekend, so anything ordered over the weekend will be dispatched on the following Monday for delivery on Tuesday. We will do our best to keep you informed of any delays should they occur.

Please note we do not deliver on weekends or Bank Holidays.

We offer a free 48 hour delivery service on orders £75 and over, based on orders placed before 17:00 Monday – Friday.  Orders under £75 have a delivery charge of £9.

We do everything we can to meet the delivery time specified, however, occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and cannot be guaranteed. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund any delivery costs for delayed orders.

We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay. Please note that if your order is made up of a combination of items, deliveries may, on occasion, be made separately. Any issues with the items must be notified to [email protected] within 48 hours of the delivery. Risk in the goods will pass to you on delivery. We reserve the right to alter or amend delivery times in exceptional circumstances. Please note that if you order multiple items we may send the items on a pallet rather than individual boxes.

Please note: If no-one is home to accept delivery on two occasions your item will be held in the depot until you contact us. If this does happen there are two options, we can rearrange delivery but there will be a fee to pay (£12 for parcels, £30 for pallets). Alternatively, we can arrange for the parcel to be returned to our warehouse and you will be refunded minus a £12 (parcel) / £30 (pallet) fee.

Any orders that are refused upon delivery and returned to us will be refunded minus £15.

We are only able to deliver batteries to addresses within mainland UK, please see the image below of postcodes that we are unable to deliver batteries too.

Books

If you order our book from within the UK, your order will be dispatched via Royal Mail 48 Tracked delivery. We are able to deliver to all the British Isles.

Electrical components, powerbanks & insulation

For delivery of these items we may use Royal Mail, Fedex, DPD, TNT or DX as the delivery service and are able to deliver to all the British Isles.

Please note that if you based in the highlands, islands, Isle of Wight or Northern Ireland, an additional postage charge will be added to your order due to the increased cost of shipping to these areas.

If you are based on Isle of Man or the Channel Islands, we can ship here but we aren’t able to process this via our website as postage costs can vary wildly. We would therefore ask you to get in contact with us at [email protected] and advise your address and what you are trying to order. We can then get a quote for the shipping cost.

Batteries

For the delivery of Batteries we use DHL, DPD & DX.

🇪🇺 EU customers

We are currently unable to ship individual electrical components to Europe. If you are interested in purchasing one of our kits, please get in touch. We are able to ship these from our UK distribution centre to any EU country. In this instances, VAT will not be charged and you will only be required to pay for shipping. On delivery of your order, you will need to pay your local rate of VAT, plus any required customs duties.

Books

If you order our book from within Europe, your order will be dispatched from our German warehouse via GLS. We are able to dispatch to all of Europe, and there will be no import duties or taxes to pay. Please note we cannot guarantee how long your parcel will take to arrive, but the majority of parcels take between 3-10 working days.

🇺🇸 US customers

All orders placed in the US will be dispatched from our distribution centre in Montana. If you cannot find the product you are looking for available for purchase via our website, please get in touch as we may still be able to fulfil your order.

Returns

If for any reason you no longer require your item, you can return the item in a new and unused condition within 14 days for a refund. We unfortunately will not reimburse any return costs met by yourself.

Please contact [email protected] and reference your order number if you need to make a return. Please be sure to include all components, instructions and packaging with the return. 

A full refund will be processed for your order providing the following conditions are met:

  1. No signs of wear and tear (item needs to be in a re-sellable condition)
  2. Damage has been caused from failure to follow the instruction manual
  3. Negligent and improper storage, usage or installation has damaged or defected the product
  4. Unauthorised modifications have been made to the product

If a returned item does not meet these criteria and you would like the item to be returned to you again, you will need to cover the postage cost. This is normally £9.00 but larger items, especially those that need to be delivered on a pallet will cost more than this.

Custom item returns

Items that are custom-cut to your specifications, including electrical cables cut to specific lengths, are non-returnable and non-refundable. Please ensure that you provide accurate measurements and specifications when placing your order. This policy does not affect your statutory rights in cases where goods are faulty or not as described.

Damaged items / missing deliveries

If your order arrives damaged, please try to let us know within 48 hours of delivery.

If you do not receive your full order, please check your tracking information to make sure that your order is not arriving in multiple parcels or shipments. If you believe an item has been missed or lost in transit, please contact [email protected] as soon as possible.

If your order arrives damaged or broken, please follow the below steps:

  • If your order arrives visibly damaged, it is your discretion to refuse the delivery or flag the damage to the courier.
  • If you discover damage on opening the delivery, please take pictures of the damage. Email all images and any other relevant information to [email protected] where one of our team will be happy to help you.

If your order has not arrived, or has been declared as arrived but you have not received them, please contact us as soon as possible to notify us of this. Upon being informed that your order has not arrived, we will open an investigation into your delivery. During the investigation, we will gather information from yourself and the courier and try to work out what has happened. Please be advised that this will likely take between 7-10 days from the notification of goods being missing. During this time, we will be unable to progress your case further due to insufficient information. Once we have gathered all of the information, we will respond to you with a case closure.
Please note that all deliveries must be signed for on receipt of goods. If changes are made to the delivery after we have dispatched them (adjustments to address, safe place etc), please be advised that we will not be liable for any losses that occur.

Warranty claims

Before returning any products to us, please email us at [email protected] to discuss your return. We will require the product’s RMA Number which is normally found on the product or packaging to start the warranty claim process with the manufacturer. We would like to stress that the warranty process is different for each manufacturer and it is ultimately their decision as to the result of the claim. That being said, it is extremely rare that a warranty claim does need to be made as we only stock products made by reputable manufacturers.
