Crimp connectors are widely used in electrical work to securely join cables in fixed wiring installations. This is often faster and simpler than soldering. Spade crimp connectors are used to connect small gauge cables to spade connections. Blue crimp connectors are suitable for 1.5-2.5mm² cables.
