This Fogstar Drift Gen2 300Ah battery is a 25.6V LiFePO4 leisure battery designed by the award-winning team at Fogstar. All Fogstar batteries use EVE prismatic LiFePO4 cells, and have a built-in heater and Bluetooth. The Fogstar Drift app allows you to monitor your battery from your smartphone.

Not sure if you need 12V or 24V?

Many campervan electrical systems are typically 12V. However, if you have higher power requirements (such as a 3000W inverter), it may make sense to opt for a 24V system. What is the Gen2 Drift?

Fogstar’s new Drift Gen2 battery combines the best features from their original Drift and Drift PRO batteries. As well as a higher maximum discharge current of 300A, the Gen2’s boast the direct Victron compatability of the PRO batteries. If you have a Cerbo, you can connect directly to the Drift Gen2 using an RJ45 cable. The active cell balancer keeps every cell perfectly aligned. What’s more, the 0.2A shunt accuracy ensures that the internal battery monitor almost perfectly aligns with any external system monitors, such as a Cerbo GX.

Fogstar Drift app

All Fogstar Drift batteries have Bluetooth by standard. So, you can connect to your battery via your smartphone to monitor its performance and state of charge. This means you don’t need to include an additional battery monitor in your system.

Built-in heater

Lithium batteries cannot be recharged in low temperatures. Because of this, all of the Fogstar Drift Gen2 batteries have a built-in heater as standard. So, no matter the temperature, you can recharge your electrical system, and your adventures can continue.

Grade A EVE LiFePO4 prismatic cells

Many leisure battery suppliers simply don’t know which cells are being used at the assembly phase, nor will they understand the grading, quality processes or what configuration is being used. This is why Fogstar have been involved since the inception of their product. They select each component, from the prismatics to the BMS and heating components.
