100W Reinforced Semi-Flexible Solar Panel – Monocrystalline 12V Panel

This durable semi-flexible solar panel is reinforced with fiberglass plastic and features a strong ETFE surface. It’s made from efficient monocrystalline solar cells and includes a rear-fitted circular junction box with a 3m dual-core cable. Designed for permanent outdoor use, this high-efficiency 100W solar panel provides free electricity for charging 12V batteries. It powers various applications such as motorhomes, caravans, campers, boats, solar lighting systems, off-grid setups, and backup solar power systems. The panel also directly supplies power for applications not sensitive to changes in voltage or current, like electric motors or pumps. It suits various grid-tie applications as well.

Strong ETFE coating

The 100W semi-flexible solar panel has a surface made of strong ETFE material, reinforced with fiberglass. This ETFE coating extends the panel’s service life compared to standard semi-flexible panels. This design resists cracking, delamination, and corrosion, making it highly durable. The lightly textured coating creates an anti-reflective surface that absorbs more light, boosting efficiency. ETFE material is known for its durability and high-temperature resistance, making it suitable for demanding applications like the Eden Project in Cornwall.

High quality 9-busbar solar cells

The panel uses new generation 9-busbar solar cells, which are more efficient than the 2, 3, 4, or 5 busbar cells found in most other panels. These cells extract more power from the same surface area. As a result, the panel is smaller in size, making it ideal for space-limited applications.

Anti-reflective textured surface

The panel’s textured surface reduces light reflection while maximizing light absorption from all angles. This design ensures high performance in low light, cloudy conditions, and when light falls at an angle, such as in the morning or evening.

Ease of connectivity

This model features a rear-mounted junction box and cable, creating a completely level surface for a professional finish. The circular junction box has a single dual-core cable (3m length), simplifying installation. To achieve flush mounting, you need to cut a recess into the roof or surface. This solar panel also features a unique black backing, ideal for discreet installation on dark-colored roofs, vehicles, or mounting surfaces. While the panel is not ultra jet-black, its hue may vary slightly between batches of solar cells.
