12V LED Spotlight – Orbit XL, 3W – Black, White or Chrome

Orbit XL LED spotlights are highly efficient, minimalistic 12V LED spotlights which can be easily installed on any surface. Each spotlight contains extra bright LEDs, which provide brighter light in a wider spread than the standard Orbit LED lamps, whilst using only 3W of power.

The ‘Master’ units incorporate an on/off switch integrated into the frame and a connection port for connecting other, ‘non-master’ Orbit XL lamps. The switch on the master unit controls all other connected Orbit XL lamps, giving you a unified bank of lights. Each master lamp is wired with a 0.5m tail of black double-barrelled cable, with the negative denoted by a white strike. We don’t wire a connector to the end of this cable, meaning you can wire it directly to your 12V fuse board.

We sell these spotlights in 3 frame colours (black, white, and silver) and 2 LED colours (6000K or cool white, and 4500K or natural white).

Dimming LEDs

Almost all of our LED lights are dimmable. However, it is important that when wired, both the positive and negative lines are brought back to the dimming switch for it to function correctly. We sell a touch-sensitive dimmer switch in our shop.

Please note: that when pairing with the optional dimmer switch you can control the lights at either the master light or the dimmer switch, but not both at the same time. For example, when turning the lights off at the dimmer switch, you cannot turn them back on at the master switch. The dimmer switch is designed to be used as an alternative to the switch on the master LED.
