270W Reinforced Semi-Flexible Solar Panel – Monocrystalline 12V Panel

This durable semi-flexible solar panel is reinforced with fiberglass plastic and features a strong ETFE surface. Made from efficient monocrystalline solar cells, this model also includes a rear-fitted circular junction box and a 3m dual-core cable. Designed for permanent outdoor use, this high-efficiency 270W solar panel provides free electricity for charging 12V batteries. It powers various applications such as motorhomes, caravans, campers, boats, solar lighting systems, off-grid setups, and backup solar power systems. The panel also supplies direct power for applications that are not sensitive to changes in voltage or current, such as electric motors or pumps. It is also suitable for various grid-tie applications.

Strong ETFE coating

The surface of this 270W semi-flexible solar panel is made of strong ETFE material, reinforced with fiberglass. The ETFE coating provides a longer service life compared to standard semi-flexible panels. This design resists cracking, delamination, and corrosion, making the panel extremely durable. The lightly textured coating creates an anti-reflective surface, which allows the panel to absorb more light, increasing efficiency. ETFE material is known for its durability and high-temperature resistance, making it ideal for demanding applications like the Eden Project in Cornwall.

High quality 9-busbar solar cells

This panel uses new generation 9-busbar solar cells, which are more efficient than the 2, 3, 4, or 5 busbar cells found in most other panels. These cells extract more power from the same surface area. As a result, the panel is smaller, making it ideal for space-limited applications.

Anti-reflective textured surface

The textured surface of this solar panel reduces light reflection while maximizing light absorption from all angles. This design ensures high performance in low light, cloudy conditions, and when light falls at an angle, such as in the morning or evening.

Ease of connectivity

This model features a rear-mounted junction box and cable, creating a completely level surface for a professional finish. Unlike other solar panels, this one has a circular junction box with a single dual-core cable (3m length) attached, simplifying installation. For flush mounting, you will need to cut a recess into the roof or surface. This solar panel features a unique black backing, making it ideal for discreet installation on dark-colored roofs, vehicles, or mounting surfaces. While the panel is not ultra jet-black, its exact hue may vary slightly between batches of solar cells.
