Dometic CFX2 45 - Compressor Cool Box - 45L Portable Fridge Freezer
The Dometic CFX2 45 is a 45L compressor cool box designed for keeping food and drinks chilled or frozen whilst travelling. Its robust construction and portable design make it well suited to campervans, motorhomes, cars and other mobile setups where reliable refrigeration is needed without a permanently installed fridge.
The CFX2 45 can operate as either a fridge or freezer, with an adjustable temperature range from +20°C down to -22°C. It can be powered from a 12V or 24V electrical system, or connected to a 100-240V AC supply when mains power is available.

Power consumption
The Dometic CFX2 45 has a rated current draw of 8.8A at 12V or 3.9A at 24V. When planning an off-grid electrical system, actual daily energy consumption will vary depending on factors such as the selected temperature, ambient temperature, how frequently the lid is opened and how much warm food or drink is added.
If you're calculating the battery capacity required to run your fridge alongside the other loads in your campervan or motorhome, you can use our free electrical system design service for help specifying your system.
Smartphone temperature control
The CFX2 45 can be controlled from your smartphone, allowing you to adjust and monitor the internal temperature without having to access the controls directly on the cool box. This can be particularly useful when the fridge is positioned in the rear of a campervan or somewhere that is less convenient to reach during a journey.
Portable 45L storage
The 45L interior provides space for up to 56 x 330ml cans or eight 1.5L bottles. A removable basket helps keep food and drinks organised, whilst the foldable handles make the unit easier to lift and move when required.
The CFX2 45 measures 678mm long, 493mm high and 401mm wide including the handles, and weighs 16.8kg.
