Dometic CFX5 75DZ - Compressor Cool Box - 75L Portable Fridge Freezer
The Dometic CFX5 75DZ is a large 75L dual-zone compressor cool box designed for keeping food and drinks chilled or frozen whilst travelling. Its two independently controlled compartments make it particularly useful for campervans, motorhomes and longer trips where you want to run a fridge and freezer at the same time.
The two compartments provide 45L and 30L of storage, with each zone allowing its own temperature setting between +20°C and -22°C. The CFX5 75DZ can be powered from a 12V or 24V DC electrical system, or connected to a 110-240V AC supply when mains power is available.

Dual-zone fridge and freezer
The CFX5 75DZ has two separate cooling compartments, allowing you to set a different temperature for each zone. This means you can keep fresh food chilled in one compartment whilst storing frozen food in the other, or configure both zones to suit your trip.
With 45L in the larger compartment and 30L in the smaller compartment, the combined 75L capacity can hold up to 128 x 330ml cans and 22 x 1.5L bottles.
Power consumption
The Dometic CFX5 75DZ has a rated current draw of approximately 9.8A at 12V or 4.6A at 24V. This is the rated input current rather than continuous average consumption, as the compressor cycles and adjusts its speed during normal operation. Actual daily energy use will depend on factors including ambient temperature, the selected temperatures in each compartment and how frequently the lids are opened.

Efficient cooling and insulation
The CFX5 75DZ uses Vacuum Insulated Panels to reduce heat transfer through the walls of the cool box. Combined with Dometic's variable-speed compressor and extended evaporator design, this helps maintain consistent temperatures whilst allowing the compressor to adjust its output to suit the cooling demand.
Smartphone temperature control
The Dometic Mobile Cooling app allows you to control and monitor the CFX5 75DZ from your smartphone. You can adjust the temperature of each compartment, monitor energy consumption and review operating history without having to access the controls directly on the cool box.
Large portable storage
With its 75L capacity, the CFX5 75DZ is designed for longer trips and situations where substantial refrigerated and frozen storage is required. The unit measures approximately 892mm wide, 495mm deep and 472mm high including the handles, and weighs around 30.5kg.
