Dometic CFX5 95DZ - Compressor Cool Box - 95L Portable Fridge Freezer
The Dometic CFX5 95DZ is a large dual-zone compressor cool box designed for keeping food and drinks chilled or frozen whilst travelling. Its two independently controlled compartments make it particularly well suited to campervans, motorhomes and longer trips where you want to run a fridge and freezer at the same time.
The CFX5 95DZ has an actual internal volume of 94L, split between 55L and 39L compartments. Each zone can be set independently between +20°C and -22°C, allowing you to use both compartments as fridges, both as freezers, or one of each. It can be powered from a 12V or 24V DC electrical system, or from a 100-240V AC supply.

Dual-zone fridge and freezer
The CFX5 95DZ has two separate cooling compartments, allowing you to set a different temperature for each zone. This gives you much more flexibility than a single-zone cool box, particularly on longer trips where you may want to keep fresh food refrigerated whilst storing frozen meals or ice in the second compartment.
The 55L and 39L compartments provide a combined 94L of internal storage, making the CFX5 95DZ the largest model in the CFX5 range.
Power consumption
The Dometic CFX5 95DZ has a rated current draw of 10.4A at 12V or 4.7A at 24V. On AC power, the rated current is 1.22A at 100V and 0.51A at 240V. These figures represent rated input current rather than continuous average consumption, as the compressor cycles and adjusts its output during normal use.
Actual daily energy use will vary depending on factors including ambient temperature, the temperatures selected for each compartment and how frequently the lids are opened.

Smartphone temperature control
The CFX5 95DZ includes wireless connectivity, allowing the cool box to be monitored and controlled from a compatible smartphone. This makes it easier to adjust the temperature of each compartment without needing direct access to the controls on the unit.
Large portable storage
Despite being portable, the CFX5 95DZ provides substantial refrigerated and frozen storage for longer trips. The unit measures 962mm wide, 530mm deep and 472mm high including the handles, and weighs approximately 32.6kg.
