Dometic CoolAir RTX-SPXT-IK - Universal installation kit 1 - screw fastening
The Dometic CoolAir RTX-SPXT-IK universal installation kit 1 uses screw fastening to mount RTX 1000, RTX 2000 and SPX 1200T units in an existing cab roof hatch.
Screw fastening through the existing hatch
This kit uses a perforation attachment system at the factory roof ventilation opening, rather than the cross-bracket arrangement used by universal kit 2.
Roof slope and clearance
The maximum forward roof slope at the mounting surface is 8° for RTX 1000 and 20° for RTX 2000, and 17° for SPX 1200T. Keep the external ventilation openings unobstructed, with at least 100mm clearance from other roof attachments.
