The Dometic CRX50 is our go-to fridge for campervans and boats. Its capacity combined with its efficient power usage makes it the perfect choice for off-grid electrical systems. Adaptable to suit your changing needs

The Dometic CRX50 is seriously versatile. By pulling out the freezer compartment and adjusting the temperature using the elegantly integrated touch panel, you can switch between 3 different configurations: a fridge-freezer, a larger fridge, or a large short-term freezer.

Clever storage and space-saving solutions

You’ll have plenty of storage and options for organising your groceries. The CRX50 boasts a well organised interior with movable shelves and a separate fruit and veg compartment. The door integrates a tray for smaller items and an ample bottle holder for your favourite tipples. Meanwhile, the back of the fridge is incut, which helps for a snug fit against curving walls and floor-level strengthening elements in vans and boats.

Intelligent and low-impact

Whatever configuration it’s in, and whatever tropical locale you find yourself in, the Dometic CRX50 won’t punish your batteries. Besides boasting excellent insulation, the CRX50 incorporates smart electronics to adaptively regulate fan speed and compressor control. Hence, this is a fridge which is 25% more energy efficient and as quiet as possible at all times. The fridge uses an average of 1.1Ah/h at 25℃, or around 24Ah/day. You should factor this in when calculating the battery bank size you require for your off-grid electrical system.
