Dometic TropiCool TCX 21 – Thermoelectric Cooler – 21L Portable Fridge Freezer
The Dometic TropiCool TCX 21 is a portable thermoelectric cooler designed for keeping food and drinks cool or warm whilst travelling. Its 21L capacity makes it well suited to campervans, cars and camping trips, with flexible power options for use both on the road and when connected to mains power.
The TCX 21 can cool its contents by up to 27°C below the ambient temperature or switch to heating mode and warm contents up to 65°C. It can be powered from a 12V or 24V DC electrical system, or connected to a 230V AC supply when mains power is available.

Cooling and heating
The TCX 21 can be used for both cooling and heating, making it suitable for chilled drinks and food as well as keeping prepared food warm. As a thermoelectric cooler, its cooling performance is relative to the surrounding air temperature rather than maintaining a fixed refrigerator temperature.
In cooling mode, the TCX 21 can reduce the internal temperature by up to 27°C below ambient conditions. In heating mode, it can warm and maintain its contents at temperatures up to 65°C.
Power consumption
The Dometic TCX 21 has a power input of approximately 46W at 12V DC, 50W at 24V DC and 64W when running from a 230V AC supply. Its intelligent power-save circuit reduces energy use once the selected temperature has been reached.
Active battery protection helps prevent excessive discharge of your vehicle battery when operating from a DC supply. If both AC and DC power are connected, the integrated priority circuit automatically uses the mains supply.

Portable 21L storage
The TCX 21 provides 21L of internal storage in a compact portable format, making it useful for drinks, packed lunches and everyday food whilst travelling. Dynamic interior ventilation helps distribute the cooled or heated air throughout the compartment for more even temperatures.
The soft-touch control panel allows you to select the required operating mode and temperature setting, whilst the memory function restores your previous settings after the cooler has been switched off.
