NDS Smart Charger 2A to 25A – Mains Charger and Trickle Charger – SCS2, SCS4, SCS8, SCS15, SCM25
NDS Smart Chargers are a family of leisure battery chargers which intelligently maintain and charge your batteries. The intended usage depends on the model and its charging current. Charge and maintain your batteries from a mains socket in your home or from a shore hook-up when you’re out and about. All NDS Smart Charger models are plug-and-play, making for exceedingly simple usage.
Designed with a focus on battery health
NDS smart chargers all incorporate carefully designed electronics and top quality, professional components. The smart, microprocessor-powered device selects a charging regime depending on your battery type, whether lithium, AGM, or flooded. The intelligent charger then selects a charging curve that matches the state of your batteries, using an advanced analysis algorithm. Charging happens in up to 9 distinct stages. Charging begins with checks which ensure that the battery is healthy and ready to accept charge. The device performs desulphation when necessary, lengthening battery life. Battery life is further augmented by the maintenance phase, which keeps batteries at 95% – 100% capacity during periods of non-use.
Choose a charging capacity that suits your use case
NDS smart chargers range in charging capacity from 2A up to 25A. The lower capacity models will only charge a small battery from a depleted state, but will maintain a much larger one at above 95% charge. This makes them perfect as trickle chargers, which look after your batteries during periods of non-use. The larger capacity models are capable of charging larger batteries from scratch, meaning that they can be used as battery chargers.
