Scanstrut Roam - Gas Outlet - SC-R-G1
The Scanstrut Roam Gas Outlet provides a neat external connection for a compatible BBQ or stove, connected to the campervan's onboard regulated low-pressure LPG system. It uses a GOK DIN 4815-5 type quick-connect coupling at the front and a ball valve designed to EN 331.
At the rear, an M14 x 1.5mm compression nut and olive connects to 8mm copper pipe. The outlet is designed for LPG only, using propane or butane at a regulated low pressure of 30 - 50mbar. Scanstrut states that the coupling is compatible with leading European brands, but it is not suitable for North American 1/4 inch connections.
Important: this is an LPG outlet only. It must not be used for LPG filling, and a gas bottle must never be connected directly to the outlet.
