Scanstrut Roam - Universal Electrical and Utility Housing - SC-R-U1
The Scanstrut Roam Universal Electrical and Utility Housing gives you a blank enclosure for adding a bespoke external connection whilst keeping the same exterior design as the rest of the Roam range. Scanstrut suggests uses including switches, circuit breakers, outlets, chargers, cable feed-throughs, air compressor quick-connectors, monitoring points and water pump switches.
The usable internal installation area is up to 70.4mm wide and 78.4mm high, with a maximum internal installation depth of 22.5mm. The housing itself has an installation depth of 15mm and uses 3mm PC/ABS material rated UL94 V-0.
This housing is intended for low-voltage AC / DC applications and is not suitable for drinking water contact. If it is installed alongside water connections, Scanstrut specifies switches and wiring rated to at least IPX6.
