Victron Energy MultiPlus 12/2000/80 230V Inverter/Charger – PMP122200000
The Victron Energy MultiPlus 2000VA is a powerful true sine wave inverter and sophisticated battery charger in one. It converts the 12V DC power from your leisure batteries to 230V AC power so you can run up to 2000VA of domestic appliances when off-grid or up to 3000VA when connected to shore power hook up. When connected to hook up, any mains power appliances will be powered directly from the hookup, and your leisure batteries will recharge. When the hook up is disconnected, the MultiPlus will automatically switch to powering any mains appliances from your leisure batteries, removing the need to manually switch power sources. The 12/2000/80 model allows you to charge your leisure batteries up to a current of 80A.
The Victron MultiPlus does not have built-in Bluetooth or smart connectivity, however, you can pair this MultiPlus inverter/charger with the VE.Bus smart dongle to allow you to monitor your inverter’s performance and settings via the VictronConnect app. This will allow you to set a series of programmable alarms and cut-offs to warn you of low and high voltages, as well as being able to disconnect if your battery’s voltage drops below a defined value. Victron 2000VA MultiPlus inverter/charger – use case
The Victron MultiPlus 2000VA inverter/charger is suitable for off-grid electrical system applications such as for use in campervans, motorhomes, RVs, boats and tiny off-grid houses. It is suitable for anyone whose mains power appliances equal a total wattage of 2000VA or less. As the Victron MultiPlus is an inverter/charger, it will also allow the system to be charged via shore power when connected to hookup.
Pure sine wave inverter
The Victron Energy MultiPlus contains a pure sine wave inverter. Pure sine wave inverters convert the 12V DC power from your leisure batteries and exactly reproduce the 230V AC waveform you would get from a household mains socket. This means that they can power any 230V appliances. Certain 230V appliances can be damaged or not operate properly when run from a quasi (modified) sine wave inverter.
Uninterrupted AC power (UPS function)
In the event of a grid failure, or when shore or generator power is disconnected, the inverter within the Multi is automatically activated and takes over the supply to the connected loads. This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption.
Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation
Suitable for off-grid house applications, up to 6 Multis can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output. Three-phase or split phase operation is also possible. Please check our datasheets to see which models have paralleling, three-phase and split phase capabilities.
Remote monitoring and control
Monitor and control your MultiPlus and system or systems’ locally (LAN) or remotely via the internet from anywhere in the world, using the free VRM app and free VRM portal website. Access can be from a phone, tablet, laptop or PC for multiple operating systems.
