The Victron SmartShunt 300A is an all in one battery monitor, only without a display. Your phone acts as the display. The SmartShunt connects via Bluetooth to the VictronConnect app on your phone (or tablet) and you can conveniently read out all monitored battery parameters, like state of charge, time to go, historical information and much more.

Alternatively, you can connect and read the SmartShunt through a GX device using a VE.Direct cable.

The 300A model works well for most campervan electrical systems that require an amperage between 0-300A. For systems needing more than 300A, check out the Victron Energy 500A SmartShunt or Victron Energy 1000A SmartShunt.

The SmartShunt offers a great alternative to a BMV battery monitor, especially for systems where battery monitoring is essential but you want to minimize wiring and clutter. It comes equipped with Bluetooth, a VE.Direct port, and a connection that can monitor a second battery, midpoint, or temperature.

You will need to purchase a separate temperature sensor to connect the SmartShunt to your leisure batteries.

Alternatively, the SmartShunt can be connected and be read by a GX device. Connection to the SmartShunt is made via a VE.Direct cable.

You can download the VictronConnect App from the app store on Android or iOS devices.Use a smartphone or other Bluetooth enabled device to customise settings, monitor all of your important data on single screen, view historical data, and to update the software when new features become available.
