Bluetti AC200Max Expandable Power Station – 2048Wh Portable Power Generator w. Inverter
The Bluetti AC200Max is a 2048Wh portable power generator that provides an all-in-one solution to an off-grid electrical system. Featuring a lithium leisure battery, a powerful 2200W inverter, and a charge controller, the Bluetti AC200Max makes a popular option for off-grid power where your power requirements are high. For even higher power requirements, the AC200Max can be expanded by connecting additional power modules. With two of these, you can reach a massive capacity of 8192Wh.
Expandable 2048Wh lithium leisure battery
The Bluetti AC200Max portable power generator has a 2048Wh lithium battery. This battery has an exceptionally long lifetime of 3,500 charge-discharge cycles. After this many full charges and discharges, the battery capacity will be reduced to ~80% of its initial total.
A fully charged AC200Max with no extra power modules attached will:
- Charge a phone 180 times
- Charge a laptop 30 times
- Power an induction hob (~1500W) for 1 hour
- Power a hairdryer (~1600W) for 1 hour
Additionally, the AC200Max can be connected to B230 or B300 expansion batteries. With 2 B300s connected, you’ll have a battery bank with an enormous 8192Wh capacity.
2200W inverter
The built-in inverter has a total continuous rating of 2200W and a surge rating of 4800W. This means you can power high wattage mains appliances with a combined wattage up to 2200W, such as laptops, hairdryers, coffee machines, and portable induction hobs.
Recharging methods
The Bluetti AC200Max has a built-in MPPT charge controller, meaning you can recharge the power station using a portable solar panel. It’s possible to connect up to 900W of solar charging, which you can increase to 1400W by plugging into the mains simultaneously. You can connect to a mains plug socket alone for 500W of charging, or two mains sockets for 1000W of charging. Finally, the power bank will also charge from a 12V cigarette lighter socket in your car.
You can expect the following recharging times:
- 900W solar panel – 3 – 3.5 hours
- Mains plug socket – 5.5 – 6 hours
- Car cigarette lighter socket – 10 hours @ 200W, 20 hours @ 100W
Multiple output ports
The AC200P features the following output ports:
- 4x 12V USB-A port
- 1x 12V USB-C port
- 2x 12V DC outlet
- 1x 12V car cigarette lighter socket
- 4x 230V plug socket (up to 2200W)
It also features a two wireless charging pad rated up to 15W, suitable for recharging newer mobile phone models.
Built-in BMS (battery management system)
The integrated BMS ensures the lithium battery is fully protected from over and under-voltage, short circuit and low temperatures.
LCD screen
An LCD display allows you to monitor the state of charge and power usage, displaying power in via charging methods and power out from appliance usage.
Use cases
