The Jackery Explorer 1000 is a 1002Wh portable power station that provides an all-in-one solution to an off-grid electrical system. Featuring a lithium leisure battery, a 1000W inverter and a charge controller, the Jackery Explorer 1000 makes a popular option to off-grid power.

1002Wh lithium leisure battery

The Jackery Explorer 1000 has a 1002Wh lithium battery. This battery has a lifecycle of 500 cycles. After this time the battery capacity will be reduced to ~80% of its total.

Below you can see an example of how long the battery will last charging various appliances:

• Phone – 100 charges
• Laptop – 13 charges
• Drone – 18 charges
• Camera – 50 charges
• Blender – 2 hours

1000W pure sine wave inverter

The built-in pure sine wave inverter has a total continuous rating of 1000W and a surge rating of 2000W. This means you can power mains powered appliances with a total wattage of 1000W, such as laptops, hair straighteners and blenders.

Recharging methods

The Jackery 1000 has a built-in MPPT charge controller, meaning you can recharge the power station using a portable solar panel. As well as solar, it’s also possible to recharge the Jackery using a mains plug socket or a 12V car socket.

Recharging times:

• 200W solar panel – 6.5 hours
• Mains plug socket – 5.5 hours
• Car cigarette lighter socket – 11.5 hours

Multiple output ports

The Jackery Explorer 1000 features the following output ports:

• 2x 12V USB-A port
• 2x 12V USB-C port
• 1x 12V car cigarette lighter socket
• 2x 230V plug socket (combined up to 1000W)

Built-in BMS (battery management system)

The integrated BMS ensures the lithium battery is fully protected from over and under voltage, short circuit and low temperatures.

LCD screen

An LCD display allows you to monitor the state of charge and power usage, displaying power in via charging methods and power out from appliance usage.

The Jackery 1000 is suitable for off-grid applications such as campervans, overlanders and camping trips.
