"Globetrotter - flat" - Pre-built flat campervan electrical system
The Globetrotter is a powerful 24V 300Ah campervan electrical system designed for longer trips, regular off-grid stays and higher power usage.
Choose exactly how you want your system supplied, from a self-build kit with all the preparation done for you, through to a fully installed system at our Plymouth workshop.
Choose how your system is supplied
- Self-build kit - want to build the system yourself without starting completely from scratch? We supply the hex ply mounting boards with pre-drilled component holes, alongside all the required fixings. Your cables are pre-cut to the correct lengths and pre-crimped, ready for you to mount the components and connect everything together following our guidance.
- Pre-built system - we do the hard work for you. Your main electrical components are professionally mounted to the hex ply boards, wired together and neatly routed through trunking. Once it arrives, simply secure the boards in your van and make the final connections to your battery, vehicle, solar, shore hookup and loads. The final installation can typically be completed in just a few hours.
- Fully installed - leave the entire installation to us. We'll build and install the system into your campervan at our Plymouth workshop, giving you a professionally fitted system completed by our NCC Approved Workshop.

Globetrotter - use case
The Globetrotter gives you multiple ways to keep your 24V 300Ah lithium battery charged, whether you're driving, connected to shore power or relying on solar.
The Victron MultiPlus 24/5000 provides 230V power when you're off-grid and charges your leisure battery when connected to shore hookup. A Victron Orion XS 1400 battery-to-battery charger keeps the battery topped up while you drive, while the Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/50 efficiently manages solar charging.
For monitoring, the Cerbo GX MK2, GX Touch 70 and SmartShunt make it easy to keep track of your battery, charging and overall system performance.
With a substantial 7.2kWh lithium battery bank, a powerful 5000VA inverter and multiple charging sources, the Globetrotter is ideal for extended off-grid adventures, full-time van living and higher power demands, including running larger 230V appliances such as induction hobs and other high-consumption equipment.
