Dometic CFX5 35 - Compressor Cool Box - 35L Portable Fridge Freezer
The Dometic CFX5 35 is a portable compressor cool box designed for keeping food and drinks chilled or frozen whilst travelling. Its rugged construction and versatile size make it well suited to campervans, motorhomes, cars and camping trips where reliable refrigeration is needed away from home.
The CFX5 35 has an actual internal volume of 36L and can operate as either a fridge or freezer, with an adjustable temperature range from +20°C down to -22°C. It can be powered from a 12V or 24V DC electrical system, or connected to a 100-240V AC supply when mains power is available.

Power consumption
The Dometic CFX5 35 has a rated current draw of 7.6A at 12V or 3.4A at 24V. This rated current represents the maximum input current rather than the average continuous consumption, as the compressor cycles on and off during normal use. Actual daily energy consumption will vary depending on factors such as ambient temperature, the selected internal temperature and how frequently the lid is opened.

Efficient cooling and insulation
The CFX5 35 uses Vacuum Insulated Panels to reduce thermal transfer through the walls of the cool box. Combined with its variable-speed compressor and extended evaporator around the internal walls, this helps maintain an even internal temperature whilst allowing the compressor to adjust its output to suit the cooling demand.
Smartphone temperature control
The Dometic Mobile Cooling app allows you to control the CFX5 35 from your smartphone, monitor the internal temperature and track energy consumption. The app can also provide an alert if the lid is left open, display operating history and connect to multiple compatible cool boxes.
Portable 36L storage
The 36L interior can hold up to 56 x 330ml cans and five 1.5L bottles. A removable wire divider helps keep food and drinks organised, whilst self-folding aluminium alloy handles make the unit easier to lift and transport.
The CFX5 35 measures 398mm wide, 694mm deep and 407mm high including the handles, and weighs 19kg.
