Dometic CoolAir RTX - Universal installation kit 2 - bracket fastening
The Dometic CoolAir RTX universal installation kit 2 mounts RTX 1000, RTX 2000 and SPX 1200T units using two fastening brackets beneath the cab roof.
505 x 500mm roof opening
Where a new opening is needed, Dometic specifies a 505 x 500mm cut-out with 25mm-radius corners. The cutting template is integrated into the kit packaging. The brackets brace against the roof structure and need a firm contact area of at least 40mm on all sides.
Roof slope and clearance
The maximum forward roof slope is 8° for RTX 1000, 20° for RTX 2000 and 17° for SPX 1200T. The coolerâs external ventilation openings require at least 100mm clearance from other roof attachments.
