Dometic CoolAir RTX IK - Universal installation kit 3 - bracket fastening
The Dometic CoolAir RTX IK universal installation kit 3 is a bracket mounting kit for RTX 1000 12V and RTX 2000 12V parking coolers in panel vans, light trucks and special vehicles.
500 x 400mm roof opening
Dometic specifies a 500 x 400mm opening with 25mm-radius corners where a new cut-out is required. A template is integrated into the kit packaging. Two mounting brackets sit beneath the roof structure to secure the cooler above the opening.
12V electrical connection
The 8m RTX CCBL-12 battery wiring kit, is available separately.
Roof slope and clearance
The maximum forward roof slope at the mounting surface is 8° for RTX 1000 and 20° for RTX 2000. Keep the external ventilation openings unobstructed, with at least 100mm clearance from other roof attachments.
