The Dometic CoolAir range are powerful self-contained air conditioners, and have been designed as an air conditioning unit for truck cabs. However, they are also suitable for use in campervans and motorhomes.

Use cases
Although the Dometic CoolAir RTX 2000 is primarily designed for a truck cab, it is also suitable for campervans and motorhomes. It is suitable for ambient temperatures up to 52oC.

The Dometic RTX 2000 is amazingly quiet in operation. A variable speed compressor works quietly and efficiently.
Built-in variable speed inverter

It provides more cooling performance and a longer running time while consuming less energy than the previous models. All of this is possible thanks to the use of a variable speed inverter. So, this makes for excellent cooling performance and amazingly efficient and quiet operation.
