Dometic TropiCool TCX 14 – Thermoelectric Cooler – 15L Portable Fridge Freezer
The Dometic TropiCool TCX 14 is a compact 15L thermoelectric cooler designed for keeping food and drinks cool or warm whilst travelling. Its portable size makes it well suited to campervans, cars, day trips and other mobile setups where you need convenient chilled storage without the size of a compressor fridge.
The TCX 14 can cool its contents by up to 27°C below the ambient temperature or switch to heating mode and warm contents up to 65°C. It can be powered from a 12V or 24V DC electrical system, or connected to a 230V AC supply when mains power is available.

Cooling and heating
The TCX 14 can be used for both cooling and heating, making it useful for chilled drinks and fresh food as well as keeping prepared food warm. As a thermoelectric cooler, its cooling performance is relative to the surrounding air temperature rather than maintaining a fixed refrigerator temperature.
In cooling mode, the TCX 14 can reduce the internal temperature by up to 27°C below ambient conditions. In heating mode, it can warm and maintain its contents at temperatures up to 65°C.
Power-efficient operation
The TCX 14 features an intelligent power-save circuit that reduces energy consumption once the required temperature has been reached. Active battery protection also helps prevent excessive discharge of your vehicle battery when the cooler is operating from a DC supply.
If you're calculating the battery capacity required to run your fridge alongside the other loads in your campervan or motorhome, you can use our free electrical system design service for help specifying your system.
Compact portable storage
The 15L capacity provides useful space for drinks, packed lunches and everyday food whilst keeping the overall cooler compact and easy to transport. Its portable design makes it straightforward to move between your vehicle, campsite and home as required.
