Dometic TropiCool TCX 35 – Thermoelectric Cooler – 33L Portable Fridge Freezer
The Dometic TropiCool TCX 35 is a large thermoelectric cooler designed for keeping food and drinks cool or warm whilst travelling. Its 33L usable capacity makes it well suited to campervans, motorhomes, cars and longer trips where you need generous portable storage without moving to a compressor fridge.
The TCX 35 can cool its contents by up to 27°C below the ambient temperature or switch to heating mode and warm contents up to 65°C. It can be powered from a 12V or 24V DC electrical system, or connected to a 230V AC supply when mains power is available.

Cooling and heating
The TCX 35 can be used for both cooling and heating, making it useful for chilled food and drinks as well as keeping prepared food warm. As a thermoelectric cooler, its cooling performance is relative to the surrounding temperature rather than maintaining a fixed refrigerator temperature.
In cooling mode, the TCX 35 can reduce the internal temperature by up to 27°C below ambient conditions. In heating mode, it can warm and maintain its contents at temperatures up to 65°C.
Power-efficient operation
The TCX 35 uses an intelligent power-save circuit to reduce energy consumption once the selected temperature has been reached. Active battery protection helps prevent excessive discharge of your vehicle battery when the cooler is operating from a DC supply.
If both AC and DC power are connected, the built-in priority circuit automatically uses the mains supply. Reverse polarity protection also helps protect the cooler if the DC supply is connected incorrectly.
If you're calculating the battery capacity required to run your fridge alongside the other loads in your campervan or motorhome, you can use our free electrical system design service for help specifying your system.
Large portable storage
The TCX 35 provides 33L of usable internal space, making it suitable for larger loads of food and drinks on longer trips. Dynamic interior ventilation helps distribute cooled or heated air throughout the compartment for more even temperatures.
The soft-touch control panel allows you to select the required operating mode and temperature setting, whilst the memory function restores your previous settings after the cooler has been switched off.
