The EcoFlow RIVER 2 is a 256Wh portable power station that provides an all-in-one solution to your off-grid needs. Featuring a lithium leisure battery, a 600W inverter and a charge controller, the EcoFlow RIVER 2 is a great option when you need off-grid power. The EcoFlow RIVER 2 is modular, meaning you can connect an extra battery to double your capacity to 576Wh.

A major upgrade to the original RIVER portable power station

The RIVER 2 has some real improvements under the bonnet. It now only takes 60 minutes to achieve a full charge on mains power. Further, the lifespan has more than tripled – the RIVER 2 can be fully charged and discharged more than 3000 times before the battery’s capacity drops to 80%. It’s also smaller, and 1.5kg lighter than the original, making it amazingly portable.

256Wh lithium leisure battery

The RIVER 2 has a 256Wh lithium battery. This battery has a lifecycle of 3000+ cycles. This means that it takes this many cycles before the battery capacity will be reduced to ~80% of its initial total.

Below you can see an example of how long the battery will last charging various appliances:

• Phone – 26 charges
• Laptop – 4 charges
• Drone – 4 charges
• Camera – 11 charges

4 ways to recharge

The EcoFlow RIVER 2 has ultra-fast charging, meaning you can fully charge the powerbank in only 1 hour from a mains plug socket. A built-in MPPT charge controller allows you to recharge the power station using a portable solar panel. It’s also possible to recharge via a 12V car socket, and via USB-C.

Recharging times:

• • 110W solar panel – 3 hours
  • Mains plug socket – 1 hour
  • Car cigarette lighter socket – 3 hours

Built-in BMS (battery management system)

The integrated BMS ensures the lithium battery is fully protected from over and under voltage, overloading, overcurrent, short circuit and over- and under-temperature.

300W pure sine wave inverter

The built-in pure sine wave inverter has a total continuous rating of 300W and a boost rating of 600W. Power all your normal devices, such as laptops, phones, and cameras, and give yourself a boost when you need to use a desktop, blender, or coffee machine.
