Instructions for use

Ensure surfaces are clean and free from any oil, grease or loose paint. If required, lightly sand the area to remove any loose paint flakes, and use a warm soapy water to remove any oil or grease. Afterwards, make sure the area is completely dry before starting to apply the Soudaflex 40FC

Bead, spread or spot the Soudaflex 40FC adhesive as required. Press any components into position. Remove any excess sealant and smooth any exposed Soudaflex 40FC to a flat finish with a soapy solution or Soudal Finishing Solution while still wet.

Why you should use Soudaflex 40FC – Solar Panel Bonding Sealant

Water can find its way through poorly sealed joints, seams and holes, including screw holes. This can cause damp, rot and corrosion problems. The front and rear of campervans, caravans and motorhomes can be particularly vulnerable because of wind pressure effects during travelling. Non-setting mastics such as butyls can be squeezed out of joints or seams by movement or tightening down screws. As well as this some are not resistant to acid rain and can break down after a few years. This makes Soudaflex 40FC a great solution for installing solar panels on campervans and a variety of leisure applications.
