Sterling Power have invested in a new range of digital quasi-sine wave inverters which are compact, low-cost, high performing, efficient, and reliable.

The Pro Power Q range are digital inverters which incorporate a new design that is 40% more compact than their previous designs. The new range boasts higher performance and a much quieter fan.

The Sterling 150W car inverter works with EU and UK plugs. Every inverter is pre-wired, making for easy installation in your electrical system. This model’s unique cylindrical form factor fits perfectly in the cup holder of a car, truck, or boat.

This inverter comes in a 12V or a 24V version.

There are two versions available. One has a British socket on one side and a European socket on the other. The other has a single universal socket.

Quasi-sine wave explained

Sterling Power produce both pure and quasi-(or modified) sine wave inverters, but have doubled down on quasi-sine wave technology. In their view, quasi-sine wave inverters are smaller, more reliable, and offer better performance than pure sine wave. They are certainly cheaper, and now work with the vast majority of modern devices. Some microwaves, dimmer switches, drills, and bread makers incorporate thyristor control circuits, which do not work properly with a quasi-sine wave.
