This TN Power 30Ah Lithium Battery has an impressive cycle life of 3500 cycles at 80% DOD.

TN Power lithium leisure batteries are perfect for off-grid applications where deep discharging is essential and weight and size are key considerations.

The TN Power 30Ah lithium battery weighs 3.9kg and has M5 threaded connection posts.

The 12V TN Power lithium batteries consist of 4 cells connected in series.

Please note: You can connect up to 2 TN Power batteries together in parallel, creating a total battery bank of 60Ah.

Lifespan of TN Power lithium leisure batteries

• 80% DoD – 3500 cycles
• 70% DoD – 4000 cycles
• 50% DoD – 5500 cycles

This means that a lithium leisure battery specced to provide 3 full days of power based on your daily power usage, when used every day (i.e. in full-time usage applications) will have a lifespan of around 15-20 years. Conversely, an AGM leisure battery of the same specification and usage will have a lifespan of around 3-4 years.

Lithium leisure batteries – use cases

Lithium leisure batteries can be deeply discharged by over 90% of their total capacity. This means that the vast majority of the battery’s capacity can be accessed. The power density of lithium batteries means that they are over 50% lighter and smaller than their lead-acid counterparts. These attributes combine to make lithium batteries perfect for off-grid applications where weight and space is a key consideration, such as campervans and boats.

Therefore, lithium leisure batteries are ideal for anyone with regular full-time usage such as living on a narrowboat or full-time van lifers, as their long lifespan means they will not need to be replaced after a short number of years like a lead-acid battery.
