The Bluetti EP500 is a portable power station designed for home power storage. With a 5100Wh lithium battery and a 2000W inverter, the EP500 can run your house for a couple of days during blackouts. It’s also ideal for the storage of solar power. The EP500 can be discharged more than 3500 times before reaching 80% of its initial capacity.

Bluetti EP500 – use cases

The EP500 is a large power generator, ideal for home use. The built-in MPPT charge controller allows you to connect up to 1200W of solar panels. With this much solar generation, you can charge up your EP500 in as little as 5 hours. With a fully charged power generator, you can then run your home through the night or the next few cloudy days.

The EP500 also works well as a backup power source in case of power cuts of blackouts.

2000W smart inverter

The inverter in the EP500 provides up to 2000W of continuous power and 4000W of surge power. Power all of your essential home devices via a huge variety of outputs. The EP500 will:

• Power a 700W domestic fridge for 2 days
• Power a 1000W microwave for 4 hours
• Run a 500W washing machine for more than 7 hours
• Run an air conditioning unit for 1.6 hours
• Charge a phone 96 times
• Charge a laptop 59 times
• Recharge an E-bike 7.6 times

Smart and safe

The EP500 incorporates a smart battery management system (BMS), which manages the usage of the battery and prolongs its lifespan. The BMS works with the MPPT and mains transformer to optimise battery charging, and works with the inverter to prevent overload. It also provides short circuit and over temperature protection. Further, the software behind this smart protection is constantly being upgraded, and you keep up-to-date with the latest firmware through the EP500’s WiFi connection.

You can also monitor and manage your EP500 with your smartphone. Via a Bluetooth connection and the Bluetti app, you can monitor your charge status and customise how your EP500 works.
