Dometic CFX2 28 - Compressor Cool Box - 28L Portable Fridge Freezer
The Dometic CFX2 28 is a compact 28L compressor cool box designed for keeping food and drinks chilled or frozen whilst travelling. Its portable format makes it well suited to campervans, motorhomes, cars and other mobile setups where reliable refrigeration is needed without a permanently installed fridge.
The CFX2 28 can operate as either a fridge or freezer, with an adjustable temperature range from +20°C down to -22°C. It can be powered directly from a 12V or 24V electrical system, or connected to a 100-240V AC supply when mains power is available.

Power consumption
The Dometic CFX2 28 has a rated current draw of 8.6A at 12V or 3.8A at 24V. When planning an off-grid electrical system, the actual daily energy consumption will depend on factors including the selected temperature, ambient temperature, how frequently the lid is opened and how much warm food or drink is added.
If you're calculating the battery capacity required to run your fridge alongside the other loads in your campervan or motorhome, you can use our free electrical system design service for help specifying your system.
Bluetooth and WiFi control
Built-in Bluetooth and WiFi allow the CFX2 28 to connect to the Dometic Mobile Cooling app. This gives you another way to control and monitor the cool box without having to access the controls directly on the unit.
This can be particularly useful when the fridge is installed in the rear of a campervan or stored somewhere that is less convenient to reach during a journey.
Compact portable refrigeration
With a 28L capacity, the CFX2 28 is particularly useful where installation space is limited. The unit measures 600mm long, 427mm high and 345mm wide including the handles, and weighs 13.5kg.
Despite its compact size, the wide temperature range means the same unit can be used for everyday refrigeration or switched to freezer temperatures when required.
