Andy & Debbie

After 8 years of motorhome travel, Andy and Debbie set their sights on off-grid adventures and built a van their way, with Nohma’s help.

Andy & Debbie’s journey so far

Andy and Debbie have been part of the motorhome world for over 8 years, travelling all across the UK and enjoying campsite life. But when the idea of exploring more off-grid spots started to take hold and with Norway firmly back on their travel list, they decided it was time to build a van that was perfectly tailored to how they wanted to travel.

The base for their dream build? A 2016 Iveco Daily XLWB, bought from a friend who had used it as a work van. Andy’s a mechanic by trade and good with his hands, so nothing about the conversion felt too daunting. He even picked up a few extra tips from The Van Conversion Bible!

Our custom camper is ready for anything. We’ve fitted it with a shower, toilet, fridge, and both gas and mains-powered central heating. We even made space for our trusty Vespa, which we carry on the back. Whether we’re parked up in a quiet spot or out exploring somewhere new, we’ve got everything we need to feel at home.

Our next big adventure? Norway, again! We fell in love with the dramatic landscapes and peaceful fjords last time, so we’re heading back, this time with our dream van and a BBQ packed and ready. We’re picturing lakeside evenings, sizzling sausages, and mountain views.

From start to finish, Nohma was brilliant.

Amazing after-sales service, too.
